Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Lead to spearhead client acquisition, drive revenue growth, and strengthen ExVul's market presence across the Web3 security landscape. You will be the front line of our commercial efforts — identifying new opportunities, nurturing partner relationships, and uncovering emerging market trends that keep ExVul ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Growth

  • Identify, engage, and convert new clients across DeFi, infrastructure, wallet, exchange, and emerging Web3 verticals
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from outreach through contract closure
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for ExVul's security services (smart contract audits, protocol audits, wallet audits, penetration testing)
  • Drive quarterly and annual revenue targets

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term retention
  • Coordinate with the security engineering team to scope engagements, deliver proposals, and manage client expectations
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Collect client feedback and translate it into actionable product and service improvements

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Research and monitor Web3 industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging security demands
  • Identify new market segments and partnership opportunities (e.g., new L1/L2 chains, RWA platforms, AI × Web3 projects)
  • Provide data-driven insights to leadership to inform strategic decisions and service roadmap
  • Represent ExVul at conferences, hackathons, and industry events to build brand awareness

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with marketing to develop content, case studies, and thought-leadership materials
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the audit and research teams to stay current on ExVul's technical capabilities

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of business development, sales, or partnerships experience in Web3, blockchain, or cybersecurity
  • Strong understanding of the Web3 ecosystem — DeFi, L1/L2 protocols, wallets, and exchanges
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
  • Existing network within the blockchain and crypto-security industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with smart contract security, code auditing processes, or penetration testing methodologies
  • Experience working with or selling to protocol teams, DAOs, or Web3 foundations
  • Background in cybersecurity sales or technical pre-sales
  • Understanding of blockchain economics, tokenomics, and governance models
